New for 2018: Seasonal Towels
Early 2018 winter storms caused some damage to the dunes along this section of beach, and many of them have been rebuilt. As a result, beach access points across the dunes may have changed since your last visit. Please follow new signage for dune crossovers and do not climb or tread on dune areas that are not designated paths. This is critical in helping protect these fragile dunes from the wear of pedestrian traffic. We look forward to watching the warmer weather and calmer ocean waters rebuild the beautiful beaches and dunes you know and love, and we know you will, too! Thank you for your understanding.
How did Kingfisher get it?s name? The Kingfisher is a bird of Greek legend and was considered to have the power to calm the waves. It became a sign of calm, halcyon days which is exactly the type of vacation waiting for you at Kingfisher.
Take in the gorgeous ocean and sound views from multiple decks and the screened porch at Kingfisher! Plenty of windows will let in that delightful Outer Banks sunshine as you sit surrounded by the comfortable indoor splendor of the large great room with elevated lookout area with colorful furnishings.
Two master bedrooms, 1 with a private Jacuzzi, and 3 other comfortable bedrooms offer 1 king bed, 3 queen beds, and 2 single beds when it?s time to get some shut-eye.
The kitchen with breakfast bar will give everyone a place to enjoy some treats and catch up on the adventures of the day or you can relax in the living room and enjoy a refreshing beverage from the wet bar while you watch a show on the TV. Have a picnic or eat al fresco on the screen porch while enjoying the ocean breeze.
