Early 2018 winter storms caused some damage to the dunes along this section of beach, and many of them have been rebuilt. As a result, beach access points across the dunes may have changed since your last visit. Please follow new signage for dune crossovers and do not climb or tread on dune areas that are not designated paths. This is critical in helping protect these fragile dunes from the wear of pedestrian traffic. We look forward to watching the warmer weather and calmer ocean waters rebuild the beautiful beaches and dunes you know and love, and we know you will, too! Thank you for your understanding.
Do you want to Live the Dream? Well, here?s your chance! This classic oceanfront retreat is situated on the beautiful sands of the Cape Hatteras National Seashore in Avon just a short walk to the grocery store, restaurants, and shops. With instant beach access, spacious rooms, and a large great room perfect for oceanfront entertainment, this cottage is a dream come true for your next Hatteras escape.
At Livin the Dream, all you have to do is kick back and relax. Enjoy plenty of underneath parking, a washer and dryer located on the first floor, flat screen TVs throughout the home, a stereo, books, games, and WI-FI for your convenience.
The first floor contains four bedrooms and two full baths. As you wake up in rooms one and two, you can see the sparkling waves the minute you open your eyes. One bedroom has both a queen and single bed. The other has both a double and single bed. Both rooms have a TV and bathroom one is just down the hall. Bedrooms three and four have two singles in each of them along with a TV and quick access to the front screened in porch. Bathroom number two is accessible from bedroom three as well as the hallway.
As you reach the top of this cottage, you?ll be greeted with a gorgeous view of the ocean. The spacious kitchen is fully equipped to prepare those famous family recipes, and with a breakfast bar that seats four and a twelve-person dining room table, there is plenty of room for everyone. Turn up the stereo or put your favorite game on the large flat screen as you come and go from the oceanfront sundeck. Rounding out the top floor, bedroom five has a queen bed, flat screen TV and shared access to bathroom number three. Bedroom number six is a spacious master bedroom with a flat screen TV.
For most people, living the dream is just a metaphor, but here it is reality.
