Welcome to Sailor?s Delight. Located in the upscale Summer Place community, you will be delighted to spend time at this beautiful 6 bedroom, 5 1/2 bath home. Located oceanside with incredible views of both the sound and ocean. Take a short two minute walk to the community handicapped-friendly beach access boardwalk. The second level which is accessible by the elevator, inside stairs or exterior stairs has a master bedroom and another bedroom both with queen-size beds and sliders to the oceanside decking, one two-bunk bedroom, and a large master bedroom (king-size bed) with views of the sound. A full hall bathroom, laundry area, and a large sitting area with a pull-out queen couch, flat screen TV and access to the side deck with views of the sound completes the second level.
The top level is the main living area with an open design and vaulted ceilings. This level includes a large well-equipped kitchen with breakfast counter seating for four, a 10-seating dining area, and a slider to the oceanside covered deck. The adjacent living area with comfortable sofas and chairs, a CD stereo, and a smart TV with Netflix is great for entertaining. Open the slider to the wrap around deck and relish the incredible views of both the ocean and sound while sitting in an abundance of deck furniture. Enjoy the over-sized master bedroom (queen-size bed) with large full-size bathroom. Relax in the private sitting area with a slider onto the side deck and those ?million dollar? views of Slash Creek and the sound.
Bring your kayaks or SUP boards to the sound, accessible directly across the road. Catch your own blue claw crabs or go for a quick drive to the local seafood markets/docks. Just a short drive away are the shops, watersport rentals, marinas, tackle shops and the ferry to Ocracoke Island.
